Hello everyone!! This is my last blog and I would like to tell you about the studies that I would like to continue after obtaining my degree at the university. Advances in health sciences are increasing and in dentistry there is no exception, many who want to continue their career, decide not to stagnate, but rather feel interest and motivation to develop a professional specialty in the dental sector that allows us to acquire theoretical, practical and clinical knowledge and that in turn provides us as dentists with many possibilities of labor insertion or simply improve it. Postgraduate studies in dentistry include specialties, doctorates, diplomas and magister, which are not the same. And the duration of these ranges from one year to four years. I am currently in the second year of my career and it is difficult to know what I am going to devote my subsequent time to obtaining my title of Dentist Surgeon, because there is still much to learn and areas of dentistry to know. But

My Future Job

Hello everyone, in this blog I would like to tell you about my future work or how I imagine it. We all think about the future from time to time, this helps us to project ourselves and set ourselves goals, but we never know what can happen, maybe those goals are changing, just as we are changing. At this moment I imagine in the future working as a dentist, since that is what I am studying and it makes me more and more excited. While there is a lot of work, I would like to work in a public health institution improving the quality of life of patients. I would also like to work in some other city in the south, not only in Santiago, where people really need dental care. I would also like to continue studying and obtain a specialization, if it is possible to continue these studies abroad, although I am still not sure what specialization I want, I would like to work with children in pediatric dentistry, because the relationship with the children, or in oral rehabilitation. A sport that I like

Hello everyone, today I will tell you about the sports that I like most in the first place, Volleyball, although it is not a sport that I practice regularly, I practice it occasionally and I love it Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. My Favorite TV Series: FRIENDS

Previously I had already written about one of my favorite series but it is certainly not the only one, another one that is important to mention is the FRIENDS series, although this is an old series is one that you can not miss, especially because it has 10 seasons! This was a television series aired in 1994 with a total of 10 seasons and 236 chapters The plot is about a group of friends composed of: Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross; Those who reside in the city of Manhattan, New York, as time goes by, get to know each other even more and establish a strong friendship and among some more than that. The Best Holidays I've Ever Had

The holidays that I enjoy the most have always included my family, since it is in the summer when the vast majority meet. One of the best vacations I remember was about two years ago when with my parents and my sister we went to visit my grandmother, who lives in Tomé, it is a city in the province of Concepción, although it is a very small city has beautiful beaches and also different places where you can enjoy nature, there are rivers, forest and trails perfect for trekking. Also from Tomé we traveled to nearby places, such as Dichato, Coliumo, Pingueral. In all these, there is mainly a beach, the beach is without a doubt my favorite place to spend the holidays and even more when I share with my cousins, uncles whom I see very rarely a year.Tomé always been a place to disconnect me from the Capital and enjoy different activities with the ones I love most.

A Country I Would Like to Visit: Thailand

The country that I would most like to travel to Thailand, this is a country located in the southwest of Asia and its capital and most populous city is Bangkok. I would love to visit this country for various reasons, its temples, its historical past, its culture and its nature that offers spectacular landscapes.  The Grand Palace, Sukhothai or Ayutthaya are just some examples of the richness of the cultural and historical heritage of Thailand, these are very important temples for them due to their Buddhist religious beliefs. Thailand has a great variety of flora and fauna, it is covered in 25% of natural forest and rainforest, and also the entire coast and its islands are full of paradisiacal beaches where you can go scuba diving, due to the richness of its seabed. This is something that I would definitely like to do there. Another reason why I would like to visit this country is because of its people, Thais are very friendly, open, and hospitable people who never lack a smile

A Subject you Enjoyed Studying this Semester

Hi, today I will talk about the subject that I liked the most this semester. This semester I have had in the university in total 5 subjects some humanists, scientists and other research. Undoubtedly the one that I found most entertaining and interesting is a branch called Scientific and Clinical Bases for Diagnosis 1 that, although it is a branch with a lot of content, integrates with other previously acquired knowledge, aspects of Physiology, physiopathology, General Biochemistry , General pathology and Microbiology. All this enables us to identify signs and symptoms through the clinical examination to recognize alterations and diseases in the patient. The methodology we used to learn, were lectures, and practical where we developed a series of clinical cases or in the case of the study of microbiology, observe and grow in the laboratory different samples of bacteria.
